Built in 1924 as the "Sigma Sigma Delta Chi" fraternity house, Iowa House features a unique double facade, one front facing Hayward Ave, the other facing Knapp St. Lower gables intersect the steeply-pitched complex hip roof. The Knapp facade boasts a porte-cochere or covered coach entrance with a front gable roof. Iowa House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places
